Seashell is a national learning disability charity, and we are proud that Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was our Patron until 2022.

Seashell supports children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional communication needs from across the UK.

We provide specialist education, care, and support for people aged from 4 to 25 years at our outstanding school and college, our residential homes, and through our respite, health, wellbeing and therapy services, community facilities, and services that we offer beyond our Cheadle Hulme site.

We are currently recruiting for teaching assistants and learning support assistants in our SEN School and SEN College as well as Residential Support Workers for both our Children’s (4-18 years) and Young Adults services (19-25 years).

We are also recruiting apprentices for a variety of departments across the trust.
