Why attend the Manchester Job Show

Your next role starts here

Over the years, thousands of people have found a new job at our events. Here's what makes the difference.

Reach a real person, not an algorithm

More and more online applications are filtered by software before anyone reads them. Here, you skip the screening and speak directly with the people who are hiring.

Explore new paths and transferable skills

As the world of work changes, many people are exploring new industries. Talk it through with hiring managers in person, discover where your experience fits, and meet course providers if you want to retrain.

Make an impression a CV can't

Show your personality, energy and potential in person — and stand out for who you really are, not just what fits on a page.

Get answers, and move faster

Have real conversations, ask the questions that matter, and progress quickly — many visitors interview within days of the show.

  • A graduate seeking your first big role
  • A school leaver looking for an apprenticeship
From our visitors

What our visitors say

I'd applied for loads of jobs online and barely heard back. At the Job Show I spoke directly with employers, showed my personality beyond my CV and had real conversations. A few weeks later, I'd secured a new role.

Everything moved much quicker than I expected. I met employers who were actively hiring, had proper conversations about roles and was interviewing within days. Shortly after, I received a job offer.

I wasn't sure what role I wanted, but speaking to different employers helped me realise my experience could work in other industries too. I got hired in a sector I hadn't even considered.
